I guess it only works on some systems – on mine the settings keep resetting themselves back to false and I never see shadows. Snowglobe sure loads textures fast tho.

Impressive.

I was hoping Kirsten was going to incorporate the 1.23.4 fixes! (Kirsten's always was my favorite viewer until you exposed the Snowglobe performance).

I forget how to turn-on shadows, but I'll take your challenge at comparing them in LL Official, Snowglobe and Kirsten's S18 this weekend if someone will point me to a URL with the steps again.

For me S-18 Works great! I get 8-12 FPS with everything maxed out and shadows enabled. Screen shots work too as evidenced here:

My card is an Nvidia 260 GTX with the very latest drivers.
